BLOSSOMING FOR MARRIAGE

‘Could you get me a cup of water?’, he asked
‘Am I your mate’, I thought.

 I responded casually by asking him to
get the water by himself.
This was the first conversation I had with a male youth in the Nigeria
Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) house. Of course, we were not
best of friends because of this encounter. We both finished our
National Youth Service Corp and were miles apart. At least, we
would not have to step on each other’s toes anymore. One night, my
phone rang, and it was brother Paul.
‘Hello, why have you not slept?’ he asked.
‘I am still praying’, I replied.
One thing led to the other and we became good friends. He proposed
to me and we got married nine months after. 

Our union has evolved
over the years into stronger bonds. Funny enough, I have not stopped
giving him cups of water and ….…
For me, my Christian faith has made all the difference in my life,
particularly in the aspect of choosing a loving marriage partner. It is
worthy of note to define Marriage as a legal relationship between a
matured man and a matured lady. Before you read this book, pause
for some minutes to critically evaluate where you are and how you
feel about your relationships. The main purpose of this book is to
enlighten our girls on the necessary steps to take before saying I do.
